Course Description:
Principles of Law, Public Safety, Corrections, and Security is a course that introduces students to professions in law enforcement, security, corrections, and fire and emergency management services. Students will examine the roles and responsibilities of police, courts, corrections, private security, and protective agencies of fire and emergency services. Guest speakers from various agencies will share their experiences and provide insight into careers in law enforcement and emergency management services. Students will earn CPR certification (American Heart Association). Must be taken with Law Enforcement 1.
