Practicum in Live Audio Video Production 1

Course Description:

Students in this class will develop advanced knowledge and skills in sports broadcasting and live sports production. Students will improve their portfolio of work that will assist them in gaining entry-level employment, earning admittance into college film/video, television/radio broadcasting, and audio production programs, as well as securing post-secondary scholarships. Students will be expected to take on producer roles and leadership responsibilities for any class productions, as well as manage and oversee district productions outside of class. Additional time beyond regular school hours is required for productions and volunteer opportunities. Students must have an AVP Polo and a (minimum) 16GB SD media card.

Prerequisite: Live Audio Video Production 2 and Lab
