ART 3D Design Portfolio AP (Ceramics/Sculpture)

Course Description:

The Three-Dimensional Design Portfolio course is intended to address a very broad interpretation of sculptural issues in depth and space. Such elements and concepts can be articulated through additive and subtractive fabrication processes. A variety of approaches might include jewelry, traditional sculpture, architectural models, apparel, ceramics, fiber arts, and metal work. The portfolio is submitted as 35-mm slides of selected pieces that represent the student`s best works and includes a written statement defining the student`s focus of concentration.

Prerequisite & Recommendations:

Prerequisite: Art 2 & 3 Ceramics or Art 2 & 3 Sculpture, Teacher approval
