Course description
These courses provide students an opportunity to further develop their drawing and painting skills. Design and composition are emphasized through a variety of painting media, techniques, and themes, both representational and nonrepresentational. Students will learn to evaluate their own work by studying artists and artworks throughout history. Preparation of a portfolio is required. *One full credit (18 weeks) must be earned in the previous level for entry into the next higher-level painting course.
