Course Description:
Forensic Science is a survey course that introduces students to the application of science to law. Students learn terminology and procedures related to the collection and examination of physical evidence using scientific processes performed in a field or laboratory setting. Students also learn the history and the legal aspects of forensic science. This course must be taken in conjunction with Criminal Investigations (89806200) for 2 full credits. This course counts as a 3rd/4th science credit for FHSP. Students enrolled in this course will take an Industry-Based Certification related to the Program of Study.
