This course introduces students to the meaning of citizenship and to the NJROTC program and fundamental elements of leadership. Key topics covered are: value of scholarship in attaining life goals, awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle through physical fitness, a proper diet, controlling stress, introduction to the U.S. Navy, self-discipline training through close order drill instruction, military rank and authority structure. These elements are pursued at the fundamental level. Counts as a PE credit.
