Course Description:
This challenging course is designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement exam. The students gain a thorough understanding of basic economic principles with emphasis on the study of national income and price determination, economic performance measures, and international economics. Emphasis will be placed on critical thinking skills through understanding the applications and analysis of fundamental economic concepts. This course fulfills the graduation requirements for Economics. AP Test Prep Social Studies (49581300) is available as a review prior to the AP exam in the spring on some campuses.
