Personal Financial Literacy and Economics - Virtual Learning

Course Description:

This course emphasizes the economic way of thinking and focuses on personal financial decision-making. We will learn about earning and spending, saving and investing, protecting assets, entrepreneurship, the free enterprise system and markets, as well as the economy of a country including taxes, inflation, and unemployment. Although this is a virtual course, students do have opportunities for personalized instruction using WebEx or like methods. Course flexibility allows for both inside and outside the school day scheduling. If taken inside the school day, students have the option to schedule the course during their 1st, 3rd, or 4th periods. Students do not have to be physically present on campus to take an online course. While there is flexibility in the time of day you work on your classes, they are NOT self-paced.
