Special Topics in Social Studies: New Testament (Bible Literacy)

Course Description:

This course will follow federal law maintaining religious neutrality and will consider the Bible in a secular and academic context. Students will study biblical content and narratives that are prerequisites to understanding contemporary society and culture, including literature, art, music, tradition, and public policy. It will familiarize students with the New Testament and its influence on law, history, government, literature, art, music, customs, morals, values, and culture. This course may not be available at all campuses.
