Aerobic activities students will be exposed to a variety of activities that promote health- related fitness. The student is expected to exhibit a level of competency in two or more aerobic activities that may include aerobic dance, jogging, power walking, recreational dance, or step aerobics. A major expectation will be to design a personal fitness program that uses aerobic activities that develop the ability to participate confidently. Students recovering from knee or ankle injuries should not be encouraged to sign up for this class. Students with heart, asthma, or breathing related problems must have a medical release.
