American Sign Language 2

Course description

In ASL 2, the main emphasis is on expressive skills (signing) while developing receptive skills (understanding signing). Students will be guided in recognizing the interrelationships of language and will develop a cultural appreciation for the Deaf community. The expected outcome of this course is developing Novice Mid to Intermediate Mid proficiency. This course is conducted in ASL (without voice) a significant amount of time.

Prerequisite: ASL 1 or Credentialing Interview
